Artist To Stalk: Catherine Booker Jones

When I first started my blog I had a column called Fabulous Friends on Friday where I featured industry professionals I admired.  Sometimes it was artists, other times it was peer designers or companies who produce products I like.  I have decided to reintroduce that series but change the name and date to Wednesday and call the series: “Stalker” which is what I seem to do when I find someone or something I love.  

 

To kick off the series, I want to introduce you to an artist I have been stalking on instagram, Catherine Booker Jones.  Catherine hails from 

Birmingham, Alabama but grew up in Albany, Georgia. She graduated from The University of Alabama, so I’m sure she is enjoying football season, Rolltide!  Wouldn’t you know it Catherine gives credit to her mom, who was an interior designer, for exposing her to the design world and developing her love of beauty in art, fabric, and home furnishings.
