When a new year arrives, I feel like a snake molting out of it’s skin. I subscribe whole-heartedly to the “out with the old and in with the new” as they say! Do you?
One thing I don’t plan to change is my disinterest in comparing myself to others! I know, I know it’s hard not to make comparisons in our world, but if you are doing that, stop it! Ok, so I admit, I am not perfect at this, but I strive not to do it daily. Traci Zeller and I have a saying in the studio I’ll share with you. “Stay in your lane.” If one of us says “did you see what so and so is doing”, or “wow, wonder how he or she pulled that off” we are quick to remind each other to “stay in our lane”. If we focus on others we cannot possibly be focused on your own work and growth, so I invite you to “stay in your lane” along with us.
I have made a commitment to look forward, not backwards. What is it that they say about looking in the rear view mirror? You can’t drive forward or something? I am not going to look back and have regrets over what I did wrong or what didn’t happen.
I have re-evaluated 2014’s plans. Some of those plans have been ditched, others have been put on the “to-do” list for 2015. Either way, I’m moving forward and not looking back.
I am laying claim to success in 2015! This is my year to shine! I’m so excited about so many things! There I said it! I am claiming this year as “My Year to Shine”! What do you claim? If you put it in writing, chances are much greater it will happen, did you know that? Write
down what you plan to do this year and claim it for yourself! I have a long
list I have made of what I plan to do this year! You know what they say…
Plan the work and work the plan, is the only way to get
done what you want to do.
Remember………
