Quick color update from market.  I know these photos aren’t the best but I think I discovered the problem!  My little Michael Kors phone wristlet was dangling from my wrist when I tried to take photos, so today I make sure to stuff it in my bag when photographing!  Anyhow, gotta dash out the door but before I do, one comment about what I am seeing at market…..COLOR!
I think we can predict color is back!  I am seeing BLUE everywhere!  Navy, cobalt and yes still teal and aqua are around but definitely blue!  Citron, chartreuse and lemon yellow are also favs!  Corals, oranges and tangerines but mostly in accents.  Pink in both pale and hot shades as in the John Robshaw for Duralee collection above.  Red thrown into the mix for good measure as well.  Lavender in certain showrooms, but I am hearing reps say things like “if you want to purchase that (lavender) sofa off the showroom floor”, it will be a really great price because it’s lavender and trending.  So word to the wise, it is always a great idea to keep your base fabric neutral and throw in pops of the trendy color.  If color is used in pillows and accessories, it’s easy to change out for the season or when the color becomes a has been.
Ok, so I am out the door.  Wonder who I will see today?  Yesterday, Thom Filicia was so incredibly nice to me.  His collection at Vanguard rocked!  I was in Bunny Williams with the Martha Stewart Living girls.  One of them had on the cutest pair of shoes.  (Even Martha’s employees are perfect looking! )  Oh well, enough about people watching, gotta go work!

Hope you are having a great day!
