A few weeks ago, I was in Slate Interiors here in Charlotte and this face stopped me dead in my tracks! I don’t know why, but I have a serious thing for faces, just ask my studio partner, Traci Zeller. I had to have this one. I didn’t have a clue who painted it and had no idea where it was going to end up, but knew she was going to be mine! She went home with me that day. After I got home, I went on a scavenger hunt to discover the artist. Low and behold, the answer to my mystery was found on instagram when Jennifer Barber Crane identified the artist under the post of my face I posted on my instagram feed! The artist was Hayley Mitchell from Austin,TX. I immediately checked out her instagram feed and her etsy shop! If you love faces like I do make sure to check out her shop too. Mine is an original, but she also offers prints Here are some of my favorites prints from her etsy shop!

From what I can understand the original three faces were
Tuesday, Salome and Agragena. I’m still uncertain of
my face’s name but still trying to find out!
Hayley paints other things too. This is a fav of mine…
