Why hello there sexy emerald leather chair!  If I could pick you up and take you home with me I would!  I have just the place for you!

Isn’t this a fabulous looking chair?  I almost flipped when I saw it!  It’s part of Barclay Butera’snew licensed collection of upholstery, case goods and occasional accents for Highland House.  The new collection consists of 83 pieces of furniture for living, dining, family room and bedroom. I am dying to see the rest of the collection, which will be unveiled at April’s High Point Market.  If you are attending market, make sure you put this on your must see list.  (P.S. Style Spotters take note!!!)
I know there will be lots of drool worthy goodness to
 be seen here!!!

This is another fab chair from Barclay’s new collection in American’s favorite color combination, blue and white!  I love the painted leg which gives this classic style chair a completely updated look.

Barclay is known for his California Chic Style, which employs a high-energy use of color and a fresh approach to traditional design.

Given Barclay’s well known penchant for blue and white this vignette truly speaks to his infusion of California cool in his designs.  Don’t you love this small peek?  Did I whet your appetite to see more?

The collection will be on display in the Highland House showroom in #142 Historic Market Square, as well as in Interhall IH404.

On another note, Barclay will be speaking on Saturday, april 5, from 2-3pm at IHFC 11th floor Ballroom B along with Tori Mellott, Traditional Home magazine’s Senior Style & Markets Editor.  They will headline together a seminar called “The Fresh Face of Traditional”.  Barclay and Tori will carry on a lively dialogue on the evolution and relevance of traditional design today.  I know I can’t wait to hear how Barclay approaches design to create a fresh look for traditional pieces.  He will also talk about his new collection with Highland House. The seating is limited.  Won’t you join me there?  For more information contact, Phairr@imcenters.com or call 336-888-3770
