I happened upon this three bedroom “Windswept Villa” designed by Herlong & Associates from Sullivans Island, SC with interior design by Allison Elebash and immediately was transcended to island living. The patterned grass and stepping stone walk, turquoise shutters and inviting front door, makes one anxious to go inside to see what lies ahead. Inside doesn’t disappoint either, with an open floor plan perfect for island entertaining. It’s only a three bedroom house, but lives much larger due to the vaulted ceilings in every room. I love how the house is designed with classic island style with the front door being in align with the back door to create a cross breeze to bring the outside in. The designer followed Feng Shui rules and placed plants in between the two doors to create a positive flow of energy. Everything about this house represents my idea of living the island good life! Pop over to Herlong & Associates to see a plethora of fabulous homes. I’ll warn you ahead of time, you will get lost for a while, so carve out some time this afternoon, with a nice ice tea and enjoy looking! So much to see.
