Well, The Junior League of Greensboro/ Traditional Home showhouse at Adamsleigh has drawn to a close. Traci and I have been busy packing and returning all the fab products our partners so graciously loaned us for our show house room. It is kinda hard when you get “high on your own supply” as Traci shared her friend Sarah’s hubs is always warning her not to do. Oh well, it’s really hard when you are returning Christopher Spitzmiller Lamps, Hiddell Brooks Art, Stark Rugs, CR Laine & Century Furniture, Circa Lighting, Katherine McCoy accessories and an incredible 1930’s art deco pendant valued at 45,000!!! Not to mention if I could have peeled that fab wallpaper off the walls, it would have come home with me too but it is where it is suppose to be! Yes, parting was such sweet sorrow, but alas everything is almost back to its rightful owner. I had grown rather attached to that sweet little room. It’s going to feel really weird not driving up 85 and taking the Groometown exit several times a week! It was all so much fun! Lots of work, but fun!
