I first became acquainted with Annie Sloan Paint through Miss Mustard Seed blog. I’m sure if You read blogs you are familiar with Annie Sloan Paint by now, but if not click on the link and read about this amazing product. Annie Sloan had been selling her chalk paint since 1991. It really takes the work out of painting a piece of furniture if you like the look of chalk painting. It’s also very easy to work with because there is little or no preparation.
Who doesn’t like the “no prep” work part? There are also a gazillion colors.

As you can see Miss Mustard Seed has done a lot of painting in her dining room, all with Annie Sloan paints. The look is soft and beautiful. It’s a great way to take an average piece of furniture and turn it into something beautiful simply by choosing a pretty color.
Here are some other pieces that went from average to wow!

The options are endless! I am out the door to pick up some Annie Sloan Paint for a project I am working on. Let’s see if I can turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse! Stay tuned for the results!
Happy Wednesday!
