One of my favorite items in the new World’s Away showroom were the gold and silver tortoise shells. No animals were harmed in the creation of these gorgeous items.
The Arianna lamp in gold is a standout on the faux greenery wallpaper. Their lighting is so wonderful, I don’t think there is one piece I wouldn’t use in a project.
Originally known for their hand leafed and nickel plated occasional tables, the company has added lacquer to it’s product mix in recent years with much success.
There are so many beautiful lacquered chests, how does one choose? I say “buy them all”! That’s what I love about being an interior designer, it fulfills my need to buy things for myself, because I get to buy pretty pieces like these for clients, so in a way, it feels like I own them!
Doesn’t having a fabulous trashcan make emptying the trash a pleasure? (Not really, but it does help doesn’t it) I love it when a company takes a utilitarian product and makes it beautiful. These are especially nice for powder rooms.
Love these affordable blossom pendants, reminiscent of the Tommi Parzinger, lotus pendants by Feldman, sold in the late 50’s & early 60’s at a fraction of what the originals are selling for on 1st Dibs and ebay.
This new “Rowan” chandelier was one of my favorite pieces at market.
More “gorgeousness”!
World’s Away does “white” so well. I loved this vignette in the showroom. I spy the“molecule”coffee table that Traci Zeller style spotted a couple of markets ago.
There’s the Jackie Mirror in silver. Isn’t she glam?
Isn’t it all glam and fabulous?
Love and adore the “Doris” etagere!
Dying to use the “Jonathan” coffee table in a project!
Elegant !
The “trendsetting” Haskell Harris, Style spotter also spotted the “Jennings” Lamp!
