Oh My Gosh! Look What I Found at Uncommon Goods & A Giveaway!!!

[siteorigin_widget class=”SiteOrigin_Widget_Image_Widget”][/siteorigin_widget]
I have been looking for the perfect way for my family to remember me while I am perusing the streets of Europe.  I first thought I would write notes and stick around the house, but then that would require quite a bit of work on my part, as well as end up messy, because I’m sure I would find a graveyard of empty envelopes upon my return.  Next, I thought about sending a postcard from my destination daily, but wondered if I would beat them home.  In my quest for the perfect reminder of my absence for my family, I turned to online ideas.  Look what I found at Uncommon Goods!  Yay!  Now every time my family crosses the threshold, they will see the face of Mona Lisa and think of “Momma Lisa” in Paris!  Isn’t this door mat adorable?  I love the bright colors.  There were several cutes one but this was the one for me! I think it just might prompt me to paint our backdoor a bright color before I leave too.  Look what else I found while shopping online at Uncommon Goods….

I don’t know about your household, but in our house we are always fighting over who’s iphone charger is who’s.  Uncommon Goods has a product called Whoozwhich solves the problem quite nicely for only $12.95.

[siteorigin_widget class=”SiteOrigin_Widget_Image_Widget”][/siteorigin_widget]
Whooz are vinyl identification labels for your phone, ipad and computers cords.   Whooz are easy to apply.  All you do is wrap the largest part around the phone charger, then stick the face on the front and voila you have an easily identifiable phone charger.  Looks so much cuter than scribbled initials with a sharper marker.  The other stickers on the sheet can be used to wrap around phone or computer cords to further personalize your items.  Don’t you love the cute little faces!  There are four sets of labels in a pack, so you can choose from Rico, Cindy, Charlene and Dexter.  Make sure you buy enough for each member of the family.
Speaking of Uncommon Goods have you ever shop there?  It is an online marketplace offering creative goods and reasonable prices.  Many of the items are handmade.  (The handmade items are noted by a blue hand in a circle on the website).  The other reason I like this company is their “Better to Give” Program.  For every purchase from Uncommon Goods, a dollar is given to the charity of your choice from their list of charities: American Forests, Women for Women International, City Harvest, and the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN). To date they have given over $700,000. dollars to these charities.
I found so many unique things I wanted!  I also found a few Christmas gifts,
that I’m going to order before they sell out!  Here are some of the cool items I found.

[siteorigin_widget class=”SiteOrigin_Widget_Image_Widget”][/siteorigin_widget]

Great prices on soapstone cheese boards, too.  Remember my post on my visit to Thermador with Traditional Home Magazine and the cheesboard displays byTraci Zeller and Tamara Matthews-Stephens?  If not, click here to view!  They made fabulous cheese and fruit displays with a cheese board just like this!  The nice part of these boards, is being able to write the name of the cheese by the products so your guest know exactly what they are eating.   This would make a great hostess or teacher’s gift.
