Designer Lawrence Boeder bring the color lime green front and center in this Lake Forest Show house in Lake Forest, Ill.  Featured in 2007 Traditional Homes, this decor is as current and popular as ever in 2012.  There is so much to love here!   He definitely has a talent for making the most of the architectural elements in the room which is shown by how he positioned the drapery rods where the walls meet the ceiling instead of at the top of the windows.  The large scale giraffe print fabric draws the eye  to the incredible whitewashed vaulted ceiling.  I love the choice of green and white to keep the decor crisp and simple.
Also noteworthy are those darling little sunflower andirons in the fireplace!

Can I throw out all my furniture and start over for spring?
Isn’t that how we feel when we see a room like this?
