It’s Christmas Eve Eve!!!

It’s the night before Christmas Eve, which I lovingly refer to as Eve Eve!!!

I kept waiting for the sun to shine so I could take some decent photos but it just wouldn’t happen until this morning!  Now I don’t have time, so I am posting what I already took.
Here are a few little snippets of what things I love during Christmas…

Reindeer dancing around the chandelier…

Not a Christmas decoration but I love this all year long…

Fred Astaire and his sister Adele dancing among the feather trees, while Merlin watches.  I collect vintage photos.  One day I plan to decorate the walls of a powder room with them…

My sleigh full of cards from our friends….

Our tree loaded with Radko’s…(tied to the wall)

An occasional child’s face smiling back at you….

Ornaments from friends reminding us of our passions….

ornaments from our travels…

Each year when the tree goes up there is a new Radko for each person to hang on the tree, then
when we get to my mom’s, she has presents on every table, uniquely wrapped and untagged.
Sometime during the brunch, you choose a box and unwrap to discovered yet another Radko for your keepsake, so we have many, many Radkos.  These traditions have been going on since Radko began.  I haven’t counted but I’ll bet we have 350 or more Radkos.  Each is still tagged with the name and year. I need to figure out a better system for keeping them part, but for now, just ignore the tags…

Merry Christmas!
