Dear Carolina, The Perfect Mother’s Day Gift!

My friend and fellow southern blogger, Kristy Woodson Harvey’s book, Dear Carolina hits newsstands today! I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy and just finished reading it. While I adore Kristy to pieces, I wouldn’t recommend any book unless I loved it ….and I did!

This book is a heart-warming story that will stay with you long after the last page is turned! Dear Carolina is a book about two mothers and their struggles in life and motherhood. It is the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. I am buying one for my Mom and my MIL. I must admit I could identify most with Khaki but loved Jodi’s struggle and her love for her child. Khaki is an interior designer who has homes in NYC and the south, two of my favorite places and tries to juggle work with family life. The characters are complex, and the plot is interesting. I couldn’t wait to find out what fate held for all. I don’t want to give away any of the plot, so I’ll leave you with a few of the quotes. Make sure you pick up a copy today, you will thank me.
